Spider and Lasso Guard Pass to Armbar (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to setup and apply the armbar while passing an opponent's spider and lasso guard. Lucas begins by circling his hand outside of the lasso and gripping on the outside of the opponent's spider leg. He then circles away from the lasso, first pulling the opponent's legs and then pushing them away just enough to put his knee on the opponent. This allows Lucas to break the lasso grip, and when the opponent pushes with his remaining grip, Lucas captures the arm with a tight Kimura trap. Lucas finishes by breaking the opponent's Gable grip defense and applying the armbar submission.
