Professor Lucas Lepri teaches a drill on maintaining the spider guard. Lucas has the spider guard and the opponent is gripping the pants. The opponent throws the legs to the side to the point where Lucas’ feet come off the biceps. Lucas spins on his hips and recomposes the guard. If the opponent throws the legs and Lucas is able to keep one foot on the bicep, Lucas can use that foot to help him turn his hips and recompose.
