Spider Guard Sweep to Mount Pushing the Knee of a Kneeling Opponent (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to sweep an opponent from spider guard when the opponent resists his initial sweep attempt. When the opponent creates a heavy base to defend against the first sweep attempt, Lucas repositions his leg from blocking the knee to pushing the knee to eliminate the opponent's strong base. Lucas finishes the sweep by shifting his hips closer to his downed opponent and moving into the mount position.
