Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to take the back, using a leg drag after a failed toreada pass. The opponent has their back on the mat and Lucas is gripping the top of the pants. Lucas pushes both legs to the side in an attempt to pass but the opponent reacts by framing. In this scenario, the opponent circles one leg back and places it on Lucas’ bicep. Lucas immediately releases the grip on the other leg, steps back and leg drags the side the opponent placed on the bicep. Lucas keeps the weight on the opponent. The opponent starts to turn away and Lucas takes advantage of it and takes the back.
