Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches another escape from the lapel guard and passes to the side control. Lucas is standing and the opponent starts to pull on the lapel under the leg and switches the grips. In this scenario, Lucas is not able to create space by moving back. The opponent is able to invert and under hooks Lucas’ leg. Lucas now grips the back of the opponent’s far side leg and then slides his other hand under the other leg to grip the cross collar. This position prevents the opponent from taking Lucas forward and allows Lucas to pass to the side control.
