Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to get the omoplata, wrist lock or armbar after the opponent tries to pass his guard with the toreada pass. Lucas has the spider guard and the opponent tries to pass using the toreada pass. As the opponent starts to pass, Lucas pushes on the sleeve to recompose and go to the half lasso. The leg that has the lasso is then used to push on the opponent’s knee. This makes the opponent move away so Lucas can pull on the arm and get the omoplata. If the opponent defends the omoplata, then Lucas also has the option of getting the wrist lock, or even the armbar depending on the opponent’s reaction.
