Professor Lucas Lepri shows a how to get the knee on belly position from the Toreada pass when the opponent prevents him from getting the side control position. Lucas starts by gripping both of the opponent’s knees. He pushes them in and steps to the side to try to go to the side control position. As Lucas starts to drop his shoulder, the opponent prevents him by blocking his shoulders with both of his hands. Lucas then releases his right hand grip and brings it from the knee to the opponent’s hip. He releases his other hand and brings it from the other knee to grab the opponent’s arm. Lucas pulls on the arm and brings his knee in and places it on the opponent’s belly while using his other leg to base out, securing the Knee on Belly position.
