Description

Professor Lucas Lepri explains the details of a toreada to over-under pass when the opponent defends by turning away. Lucas sets up the toreada pass with grips on the knee and ribs. In this situation, the opponent breaks Lucas' grip on the ribs with his knee, so Lucas reaches under the opponent's leg to grip the pants or belt. He walks one direction while pushing the opponent's leg down, and then transitions back to the other side for the over-under pass. The opponent responds by pushing Lucas' head and turning, but Lucas maintains his grips and then secures the side control position with a grip behind the neck on the collar. To complete the sequence Lucas repositions his arm to block the opponent's hips and finally releases the collar grip to control around the opponent's head.
