Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the worm guard when the opponent has two hands controlling the same side lapel. The opponent has the worm guard and is controlling Lucas’ lapel with both hands. In this scenario, Lucas is not initially able to break the opponent’s grips. Lucas controls the inside of the pants and takes a step in the direction he is controlling the leg. As he steps, he creates enough space to slide his other foot in between the opponent’s legs in an attempt to push away to escape. The opponent once again prevents Lucas from escaping. Lucas now slides his foot out so he can move back to come up on his knee. The opponent tries to reach for the leg and Lucas grips the arm before the opponent is able to. From here, Lucas can now stand up and work on passing.
