Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to get a guillotine, after countering a single leg using a hip throw. The opponent goes for a single leg and Lucas immediately gets the over hook on the near side arm. He starts to defend and the opponent lets go of the leg and attempts to go for the standing back control. Because Lucas has the over hook, this prevents the opponent from transitioning to the back. Lucas takes advantage of this and raises the opponent's shoulder using the over hook. He now places his inside leg over the far side opponent’s thigh and hip throws the opponent down. In this scenario, the opponent posts his hand out once he is taken down. Lucas immediately goes for the front head lock and connects his hand together. He uses his forearm to push the opponent’s arm in. Lucas now slides his knee in and his outside foot over the opponent’s back. From here, Lucas now finishes with the Guillotine with one arm in.
