Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to get an armbar, after pulling guard. Lucas starts with the collar and sleeve grip. He places the foot on the hip of the same side he is holding the collar. Lucas sits down on the mat using the foot on the hip to slightly turn his body so he is parallel with the opponent. As he falls, he maintains the grip on the arm and pulls it down with him. He swings his outside leg over the opponent’s head to lock in the armbar. From here, Lucas raises his hips and finishes the armbar.
