Professor André Gois shows a variation of a Berimbolo to take the back. André and the opponent start on the mat, with André having the de la riva hook on one leg. André is also controlling the same side ankle with his hand. André now reaches for the cross collar with his other hand. He uses the collar grip to roll over the shoulder to get inverted. He uses a combination of grips and leg hooks to force the opponent to spin over the legs to take the back control. In this variation, the opponent makes it more difficult by defending. André explains how to switch the hooks on the legs and use them to still be able to take the back control.
