Professor Frederico Silva teaches how to escape from the back control to the closed guard. The opponent is controlling Frederico's’ back and he immediately controls the sleeve and shoulder of the arm that is next to the head. As the opponent pulls Frederico back, he bridges back and uses his foot to post to prevent the opponent from taking him to the side. In this scenario, Frederico releases one of the hooks by kicking out his leg or using his hand to remove it. He starts to move his hips out to start escaping and the opponent tries to come up. Frederico immediately hip escapes out and frames on the opponent to recompose to the closed guard.
