Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to get the triangle or armbar from the double shallow lasso. Lucas starts with the half lasso and spider guard and the opponent has a grip on the collar and pants. He attempts to position himself in a way to shoot for the triangle, but the opponent keeps defending by applying pressure. Lucas breaks the pants grip and goes for the shallow lasso on that arm also. With the shallow lasso on both arms, Lucas waits for the opportunity to circle one leg under the arm and shoots for the triangle. If the opponent keeps the collar grip, then Lucas can go for the armbar from the triangle position. If the opponent tries to defend by opening the elbow, then Lucas brings the arm across and locks in the triangle submission.
