Lasso Sweep to Side Control (Advanced)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows a sweep using the Lasso to the side control. Lucas starts in the open guard and then gets the spider guard. He breaks the grips and uses the foot opposite to the Lasso grip to push the opponent away on the hip. Lucas then brings the same foot across and slides it in between the opponent’s arm and the Lasso grip. He spins under the opponent and grips the outside of the leg. He now raises his hips and rocks forward to use his momentum to sweep the opponent forward. Lucas then get the side control.
