Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to escape from the mount position by trapping the opponent's arm and leg, but in this scenario the opponent posts his leg out. Lucas grips the opponent's sleeve with his opposite hand and the shoulder with his same side hand. He uses his foot to trap the opponent's ankle of the same side he is gripping the arm. Lucas then bridges in a diagonal direction over his own shoulder but the opponent is able to post out. Lucas immediately puts his elbow and knee under the opponent’s leg. He brings the leg to the other side while switching his hands to block the opposite shoulder. Lucas then shrimps out and gets the opponent in his closed guard.
