Punch Defense to Baseball Slide Takedown to Mount Control (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to take the opponent down after defending some punches. The opponent moves in and throws some punches. Lucas uses his hands to cup the inside of the arms to defend. He then immediately moves to the side, hugging the waist with one arm and maintaining control of the other arm with his other hand. He now lowers his hips and extends his leg behind the opponent. The opponent is pulled back and the leg trips the opponent over. As they are falling, Lucas immediately slides his leg over the opponent to land on the mount control. From here, Lucas establishes the mount control.
