Description

Professor Lucas Lepri explains how to take the back from shin-to-shin sit-up guard. Lucas first sits up with his head close to the opponent, and when he drives his knee forward, Lucas posts and scoots himself backward to establish the shin-to-shin sit-up guard. Lucas pulls the opponent's collar while hooking with his foot behind the far leg, forcing the opponent to give up the grip to post. Lucas then extends his shin-to-shin hook to turn the opponent and take his back. He finishes the technique by hooking his hand under the opponent's shoulder, shrimping his hips away, and pulling the opponent backward before securing the second hook and back control.
