Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches a side control escape variation when the opponent opens the arm to transition. Lucas is in the opponent’s side control position and grips the shoulder. One arm is gripping the inside of the shoulder and the other on the outside. Lucas bends his knee to prevent the opponent from passing. He now curls himself under the opponent by pushing with his knee and pushing the shoulder out with his hands. In this variation, Lucas slides his other arm under the shoulder and spins around to recompose the guard.
