Description

Professor Lucas Lepri shows a drill on how to maintain the side control position, when the opponent applies the under hook. Lucas has the opponent on his side control position. The opponent tries to escape by under hooking Lucas. As soon as the opponent goes for the under hook, Lucas drops his chest on the shoulder to place pressure on him. He places his arm underneath the opponent’s under hook and behind the neck with his palm facing out. He brings his outside knee in behind the opponent’s head. He brings his other arm in front of the opponent as he shifts his hips to the other side trapping the arm with the hand that was behind the neck. Lucas then brings his knees in and secures the side control position on the other side. The opponent then goes for the under hook again and Lucas repeats the drill side to side.
