Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to get the kimura, armbar or side control from the north south position after passing the spider guard. The opponent has the spider guard and Lucas starts to pass by circling one arm in and grips the pants. He now pushes both legs to the side and starts moving to the north south position. Once in this position, Lucas has various options depending on the opponent’s reaction. Lucas can lock the kimura or go for the arm bar. If the opponent tries to reach for the leg, then Lucas can transition to the side control position.
