Description

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to pass an opponent’s guard when they are using the spider guard. Lucas starts by keeping his distance to avoid the opponent from going underneath him. He then grips the outside of the pants and closes his elbows. Lucas now starts to lift and push the opponent’s leg forward forcing the opponent to go inverted. From here, Lucas keeps pushing the opponent diagonally until the opponent rolls to the side and ends up in the turtle position. Lucas immediately goes for the seat belt grip on the opponent and then changes his base to make the opponent fall into the back control position.
