Johnny Tamma a special guest at Lucas Lepri Jiu Jitsu Academy teaches a back take using a Worm Guard variation. The opponent is standing and Johnny has the closed guard controlling the collar and the lapel. He then opens his guard and pinches his knees together to prevent the opponent from posturing up. Johnny then turn his hip to the side so he can reach for the opponent’s opposite leg and under hooks it. The lapel is then fed to that hand. Johnny’s outside leg is now used as a pendulum and swung around so he can hook it on the opponent's far side leg. From here, Johnny loads the opponent onto himself and then pushes him away to get the back control.
