Engaging Butterfly Guard to Sweep to Mount (Fundamentals)

Professor Frederico Silva teaches how to engage the butterfly guard and then sweep the opponent to the mount. In this scenario, the opponent has both knees on the mat. Frederico takes advantage of this and immediately moves in with one knee flat on the mat and the other bent up. He reaches behind the opponent and grips the back of the same side his knee is up. The other hand is used to grip the arm, to prevent the opponent from posting it on the mat. Frederico now falls on to his shoulder and uses his hook on the leg to sweep the opponent over. As he sweeps, he goes straight to the mount position.
